Excel Entertainment’s upcoming project Dil Dhadakne Do, directed by Zoya Akhtar has a very interesting cast with names such as Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar attached to it.
We now hear that Ranveer Singh has a very central character to play in the film. So much so, that the actor has assigned 70 – 75 days to shoot this project.
The film will be shot over approximately 80 days and a major chunk of the shoot will have Ranveer Singh being part of it.
The young actor will be seen in a different look. His look is key to the role so much so that the makers are keen to keep it under wraps.
Confirms Ritesh Sidhwani, "This is the first time you will be seeing Ranveer Singh as a leading man in an urban film. His look is very chic & suave. Therefore, we have restricted him from doing any other film or endorsement during our schedule of 4 months."
Adds Ranveer, "I'm super excited to work with Zoya as I believe she's one of the most talented directors in the industry. Moreover it's a part that really pushes me as an actor and gives me a chance to showcase an aspect of my performance that will surprise my fans."
The film will be going on floors soon and will be releasing on June 05 2015, which also happens to be the first film to release after IPL.
